Summary
From Spain's southern beaches, head north to explore Andalucia and Madrid on this 5-day coach tour. Depart the Costa del Sol for Granada, where we'll explore the legendary Alhambra and Generalife Gardens. Continue to imperial Toledo and spend a leisurely evening in the Spanish capital, Madrid. Visit the Cordoba Mosque Cathedral, explore the Plaza Espana in Seville and stop in Ronda en route back to the Costa del Sol.
Itinerary
Day 1
Costa del Sol to Granada & Alhambra
Costa del Sol - Granada. This morning, we depart the Costa del Sol at 7:45, making our way to Granada. On arrival, we explore the stunning UNESCO-listed Alhambra and Generalife Gardens, the former residence of the Moorish kings, renowned for its remarkable fountains, gardens, and arches.
Dinner is included this evening, and you also have the option to visit the Sacromonte caves for a traditional flamenco show.
Please note: This tour is bi-lingual, and will be conducted in Spanish as well as in English.
Please also note: In the event that tickets to the Alhambra and Generalife are unavailable from the Patronato, an alternative tour of Granada will be arranged. This includes visits to the Palace of Carlos V, the Archaeological Museum, the Church of Santa María de la Alhambra, the Royal Chapel, and a stroll through the Alcaicería silk market and Cathedral Square.

Day 2
Toledo & Madrid
Granada - Toledo - Madrid. Leaving Granada after breakfast, we head for the hilltop imperial city of Toledo, where we enjoy lunch and time to admire the view from Mirador del Valle. We'll also enjoy a walk through the old town before completing our journey to Madrid, the Spanish capital. On arrival, the rest of the day is free for you to wander down Gran Via and explore the city at your leisure.
Day 3
Cordoba & Seville
Madrid - Cordoba - Seville. Leaving Madrid this morning, we travel through the region of La Mancha to reach Cordoba. Enjoy a sightseeing tour that includes the renowned Mosque-Cathedral and the Jewish Quarter before we continue on to Seville, where dinner is provided. Enjoy a free evening in Seville.
Day 4
Exploring Seville
In the morning, we enjoy a city sightseeing tour, taking in María Luisa Park, Plaza de España, and the exterior of the remarkable Cathedral and its bell tower, known as the Giralda. Explore the charming Santa Cruz neighborhood with its quaint streets, squares, and narrow alleys.
After the tour, you've got free time, or can join optional activities including a Guadalquivir river cruise, offering panoramic views of the Gold Tower and Expo 92, or a visit to the Maestranza bullring. In the evening, you have the option to attend a flamenco show.
Day 5
Ronda & Costa del Sol
Seville - Ronda - Costa del Sol. Enjoy a final breakfast before we check out and make our way to Ronda. You'll have some free time to take in sweeping views from the Puente Nuevo bridge, explore the historic bullring, or stroll through the charming old town with its whitewashed buildings and quiet plazas. Then, we'll continue on to the Costa del Sol, where our tour ends on arrival at approximately 18:00.
