Once settled, you're free to explore the vibrant streets of the city at your own pace. Discover historic landmarks, stunning architecture, and a diverse array of local goods.
After your adventures, retire to the hotel for a restful night's sleep.
Day 2
Visit Bangkok Temples & Royal Landmarks
We will collect you from your hotel and begin our exploration at the awe-inspiring Royal Grand Palace. Here, you'll marvel at the Emerald Buddha, located within Wat Phra Kaew. Please note that photography might not be permitted inside the building.
Next, we'll head to Wat Pho, home to the impressive Reclining Buddha. This is Bangkok's oldest and largest temple, with a history stretching back over 200 years.
Our journey continues to Wat Benchamabopit, famously known as the Marble Temple. This splendid structure exemplifies the successful blend of Italian marble and classical Thai architecture.
Day 3
Journey to Chiang Mai
Enjoy your final moments in Bangkok before your private driver takes you to the airport for your flight to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival at Chiang Mai Airport, you'll be greeted by your driver and transferred to your accommodation. The remainder of the day is yours to explore or relax at your leisure.
Day 4
Chiang Rai & Northern Thailand Highlights
We will depart from Chiang Mai at approximately 7:00 AM, embarking on a scenic drive through the picturesque landscapes of northern Thailand. Our first stop will be the Maekhachan Hot Springs, a natural geothermal attraction where we can relax amidst the soothing steam and stretch our legs.
Next, we'll visit the stunning White Temple, known as Wat Rong Khun. Its dazzling white facade and mirrored mosaics symbolise purity and enlightenment, making it a true masterpiece of contemporary Thai art.
We'll then continue to the captivating Blue Temple, or Wat Rong Suea Ten, renowned for its vibrant sapphire hues and exquisite murals that seamlessly blend traditional design with modern artistic flair.
After enjoying a delightful lunch, we'll explore the Black House (Baan Dam Museum). This fascinating collection of Lanna-style buildings houses thought-provoking artwork, offering a unique insight into Thai culture and creativity.
We will return to Chiang Mai around 5:00 PM, where you'll spend the night.
Day 5
Explore Doi Inthanon National Park
We will pick you up from your hotel or guest house lobby and begin our journey to Doi Inthanon National Park. Expect a scenic two-hour drive to reach Thailand’s highest peak.
Upon arrival, enjoy breathtaking views from the summit and embark on a nature trail walk, where you can spot various bird species and admire local flora. We'll also explore the notable Nopamaytanidol Chedi and Phra Mahathat Nopaphon Bhumisiri, structures built to celebrate the 60th birthdays of King Bhumibol and Queen Sirikit.
Post-lunch, we will continue with a two-hour trek through the jungle along a narrow mountain path leading to a stunning hidden waterfall set within lush surroundings. As we make our way to the Pagagayaw Karen hill tribe village, you’ll have the opportunity to observe coffee plantations, flower farms, and possibly the famous rice terraces if visiting between July and mid-November.
Experience local culture at the village with a taste of their freshly ground coffee. Our next stop will be the majestic Vachirathern Waterfall, plunging 70 metres and providing a thunderous display.
We will then drive back to Chiang Mai, aiming to return to your accommodation by approximately 6:30 pm.
Day 6
Travel to Phuket
Start your day with an unforgettable experience by joining an optional group tour to the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary. We offer convenient pick-up from your hotel or accommodation.
Journey approximately 1.5 hours south of Chiang Mai, passing through picturesque hills, forests, and local farming areas. Upon arrival, you'll have the opportunity to learn about these majestic creatures and change into traditional Karen clothing.
Meet the elephants in their natural habitat. You'll have the chance to feed, interact, and play with them while gaining insight into their behaviour and history. Capture memorable moments with these gentle giants. Join the elephants for a rejuvenating mud spa session. Accompany the elephants to a nearby river and help bathe them. Enjoy a delicious traditional meal before bidding farewell to the elephants.
Travel back to Chiang Mai, with drop-off at your hotel or accommodation.
Please note: If you choose to participate in this optional tour, please note that you will need to take a late evening flight. Our driver will ensure your timely transfer to Chiang Mai Domestic Airport for your onward flight to Phuket Domestic Airport.

Phuket at Leisure
Nestled along the Andaman Coast, Phuket is celebrated for its stunning beaches, vibrant nightlife, and luxurious resorts. The island boasts a rich tapestry of landscapes, from lush tropical rainforests to striking limestone cliffs and palm-fringed shores.
Today offers a wealth of opportunities for you to explore Phuket at your leisure, whether you seek relaxation or adventure. Take time to unwind on the beach, bask in the sun, dip into the sea, or try your hand at snorkelling. For a glimpse of Phuket's marine life without getting wet, consider a visit to the aquarium at Cape Panwa. If adventure calls, head to Hanuman World Phuket for an exhilarating zipline tour through the jungle canopy.
As evening descends, savour fresh seafood for dinner, wander through a bustling night market, or enjoy a drink along the energetic Bangla Road. We will spend the night on Phuket, poised for another day of discovery.
