Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Saranda & Ksamil Exploration

Tirana - Saranda - Ksamil - Albanian Riviera. In the morning, our tour leader will pick you up from your hotel in Tirana, so make sure you arrive in the city at least one night before your tour begins.

Our first destination is Saranda, often called the pearl of the Albanian Riviera and the unofficial capital of Albania, especially in summer. Set along the Ionian Sea with stunning views of Corfu Island, Saranda enjoys over 300 sunny days a year. Known for its rocky beaches, scenic bays, rich flora, citrus groves, olive plantations, and vineyards, the city’s port connects southern Albania with Mediterranean countries. After exploring the city, you’ll have time to relax on the beaches or explore at your leisure. In the afternoon, take a stroll along the promenade by the Ionian Sea, enjoy a coffee, or treat yourself to an ice cream while soaking in the views. As the day winds down, Saranda offers an unforgettable sunset, painting the sky with vibrant colours.

Next, we’ll head to Ksamil, a tropical paradise with white sandy beaches and views of four islands just off the shore. Known as the pearl of the Albanian Riviera, Ksamil is one of Europe’s top beach destinations, celebrated for its fine sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. While the Albanian Riviera has many beautiful beaches, this spot offers a feel reminiscent of Bora Bora. We’ll have time to dive into the turquoise sea, enjoy the warm waters, and soak up the laid-back atmosphere. Later, we’ll return to the Albanian Riviera to spend the night.

  • Day 2

    Himara and Beyond

Albanian Riviera - Himara - Dhermi - Albanian Riviera. Today, we’ll journey along the Albanian Riviera, passing some of Albania’s most beautiful beaches, including Llamani, Dhermi, and Palasa. Our route takes us through small villages clinging to seaside rock faces, with tumbledown stone walls and narrow pathways shaded by grapevines, fig trees, and walnut trees. Our first stop is Himara, a picturesque coastal town nestled between towering mountain peaks and lush forests. The crystal-clear waters of the Ionian Sea meet long stretches of pristine white beaches, offering a tranquil escape. We’ll stroll along the seaside promenade, enjoying the views, sipping fresh fruit juice, or shopping for handmade souvenirs. The town’s vibrant culinary scene blends local flavours with Greek influences, making it a perfect spot to savour delicious meals.

Our next stop is Dhermi, one of Albania’s most renowned beaches, where you will have some free time to enjoy the seaside.

  • Day 3

    Vlore City Tour & Tirana

Albanian Riviera - Vlore - Tirana. After breakfast, we’ll head to Vlore, renowned for its mild climate and minimal rainfall, making it a popular destination year-round. Founded as Aulona in the 6th century BC, the city is famously known as the "City of the Flag" after Albania’s declaration of independence on November 28, 1912. Our visit will include Flag's Square and the Independence Monument.

We’ll then stroll through the Muradie neighbourhood, home to Vlore’s main mosque, a National Monument dating back to 1537. This remarkable Ottoman structure has been wonderfully preserved for nearly 500 years.

In the afternoon, we’ll return to Tirana, marking the end of this incredible journey. Our tour ends at approximately 18:00 - 19:00.
