DELUXE SUPERIOR: Explore Croatia and the Adriatic on this 14-day journey from Zagreb to Dubrovnik. Start with Zagreb’s historic charm and the cascading waterfalls of Plitvice Lakes, then head to the coast to discover Split and Trogir. Set sail for island-hopping adventures through Vis, Hvar, Korcula and Mljet, with highlights including the Blue Cave, Zlatni Rat beach and local wine tasting. In Dubrovnik, wander the iconic Old Town and enjoy day trips to Mostar and Montenegro’s Bay of Kotor. A well-balanced mix of culture, scenery and relaxed coastal cruising.
Itinerary
Day 1
Welcome to Zagreb
On arrival in Zagreb, we transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure before an overnight stay in the Croatian capital.
Please note:Flight details must be provided at least 21 days prior to cruise departure. If flight details are not received at least 14 days before arrival, additional transfer costs will apply.
Day 2
Discover Zagreb
This morning, we explore Zagreb on a guided walking tour, discovering both the historic Upper Town and the Lower Town. Highlights include St Mark’s Church, Lotrscak Tower, the Cathedral, and Dolac Market. Later, you have free time to enjoy the city’s cafes and restaurants at your own pace.
Day 3
Journey to Split via Plitvice Lakes
Zagreb - Plitvice lakes - Split. We depart for Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its 16 lakes linked by cascading waterfalls. We walk along the park’s wooden pathways before continuing to Split for an overnight stay.
Day 4
Explore Split and Historic Trogir - Embark Cruise
Split - Trogir. We begin with a guided walking tour of Split, including the remarkable Diocletian’s Palace, built in the 4th century. We then transfer to Trogir for a guided visit of this UNESCO-listed town, known for its well-preserved medieval streets. Later, we board our vessel at Marina Baotic, followed by dinner and a welcome reception onboard.
Day 5
Sail to Vis via Bol and Zlatni Rat Beach
Trogir - Bol - Vis. We cruise to Brac, stopping at Zlatni Rat, one of Croatia’s most distinctive beaches. We continue to Vis, once a strategic military base and originally founded as a Greek colony. You have time to explore and enjoy a local wine tasting.
Day 6
Blue Cave and the Charm of Hvar
Vis - Bisevo - Hvar. Weather permitting, we visit the Blue Cave on Bisevo Island, famous for its striking blue light effect. We then sail past the Pakleni Islands to Hvar. On arrival, we take a guided walking tour of Hvar Town, followed by free time to experience its lively atmosphere.
Day 7
Sail to Korcula - Medieval Streets and Traditions
Hvar - Korcula. We cruise to Korcula, often associated with the explorer Marco Polo. On arrival, we enjoy a guided tour of the medieval old town, known for its distinctive street layout. You may choose to join an optional excursion to experience a traditional Dalmatian dinner.
Day 8
Discover Mljet National Park
Korcula - Mljet Island. Today we visit Mljet National Park, known for its tranquil saltwater lakes and unspoilt nature. We explore St Mary Isle with its 12th-century Benedictine monastery. You may choose to cycle, kayak, or explore independently.
Day 9
Sail to Slano and Explore Ston
Mljet - Slano. We sail to Slano, a peaceful village and gateway to the historic town of Ston, famous for its defensive walls and oyster farming tradition. We explore the area and enjoy an oyster tasting in Mali Ston. In the evening, we gather for the Captain’s Dinner with live entertainment onboard.
Day 10
Cruise to Dubrovnik - The Pearl of the Adriatic
Slano - Dubrovnik. We cruise towards Dubrovnik, passing along its impressive medieval city walls. On arrival, we take a guided walking tour of the Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You may choose to take an optional cable car ride to Mount Srd for panoramic views.
Day 11
Dubrovnik at Leisure
After breakfast onboard, we say farewell to the crew and transfer to the hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to further explore Dubrovnik at your own pace.
Day 12
Mostar and the Neretva Valley
Dubrovnik - Mostar - Dubrovnik. We take a full-day excursion to Mostar, travelling through the scenic Neretva Valley. We explore the historic Old Bridge and discover the city’s unique blend of cultures and influences before returning to Dubrovnik.
Day 13
Montenegro’s Kotor Bay Experience
Dubrovnik - Kotor - Dubrovnik. Today we travel to Montenegro’s Bay of Kotor, known for its dramatic fjord-like scenery and historic towns. We explore the area before returning to Dubrovnik for an overnight stay.
Day 14
Farewell Dubrovnik
After breakfast, we check out and transfer to Dubrovnik Airport for departure.
