The amount of kayaking every day is really dependant on you and your group! First of all, you can always choose to join or not join the kayaking on any single day. If you're travelling with someone who's very active and loves kayaking and you maybe not so much, don't worry, there's plenty of other things for you to be doing, see more in the answers below. On average though there's about 2-4 hours of kayaking per day. Usually, there's one longer day of kayaking, that's maybe 6 hours but includes a break for lunch on another island.

When you're on Lopud you will stay in a guesthouse, think bed and breakfast - Croatian style. It's not a 5-star resort but the rooms are super comfortable, with your own bathroom and some of the best views you'll ever see. Here are some images so you can get a better idea:

For the week-long tours that start on a Saturday, you can arrive any time, as long as you can catch the last ferry which leaves Dubrovnik around 8pm. If you get a chance though we'd recommend arriving one or two days before to see the beautiful city of Dubrovnik.

You do not have to be super fit or have trained before going on our kayaking tours. As mentioned earlier you can choose to do more or less kayaking depending on how you feel each day. You do not need to train, the instructors are great and will teach you at your own speed. If you like more of a challenge there's certainly the opportunity for that as well.

Lopud is a small but incredibly beautiful island that is also car-free! You can walk/trek around it in 2-3 hours with spectacular viewpoints along the way. There's a beach on the other side of the island from where you're staying where you can walk to in about 30 minutes, or take a golf car. Then you can, of course, go swimming, snorkelling or relax on the beach.

Breakfast is included every day of the tour. You can expect a simple hotel style breakfast with toast, yoghurt, cereal, local fruits, coffee and juice. There are several restaurants on the island of Lopud where you can eat lunch and dinner. They offer delicious local Croatian food as well as pizza, salads and more!
