Why you should travel to… Jordan

To relax in the therapeutic waters of the Dead Sea
Visit the lowest place on the planet, a 600 sq km lake with Jordan on one side and Israel on the other to float in the saltiest water on the planet (9.6 times saltier than the ocean). Cover yourself in therapeutic and detoxing mud while you’re floating around like a cork. This is a natural spa unlike anywhere you can order on Groupon.
Take in the wonders of Petra
One of the new 7 wonders of the world that should be on everyone’s bucket list to see one day. “New” is an interesting term here as this ancient city and archaeological site that dates back to as early as the 5th century BC. Jordan’s most popular tourist attraction with a million visitors per year is probably best to visit in the spring as the summer temperatures can get up to 36 degrees in the middle of the desert. Most of our tours will take you to Petra as this is something you’ll definitely won’t want to miss.
Visit Jerash
A jewel is northern Jordan and a popular day trip from Amman. Visit the Hippodrome, an ancient sports field, the Forum- a plaza with 56 columns and the Nymphaeum, a fountain resembling seven lion heads. You can walk around and visit the museum, and watch reenactments of activities from that era, including gladiator battles and chariot races.
Enjoy the beaches of Aqaba
Located on the south coast of Jordan, Aqaba is an incredible beach destination where temperatures rarely dip below 20 degrees. A popular place to snorkel and dive, with a spectacular reef and clear waters. The beaches are beautiful where you can visit beach clubs, relax or go kite surfing.
Spice trails in Wadi Rum
For a more active trip, hike along the footsteps of the Nabatean traders. Follow the path where they used to carry spices, silks and perfumes. Wadi Rum is a protected desert reserve in south Jordan that’s not to be missed. It’s known for its red sans and rock engravings. It’s a stunning place to hike around, or why go on a jeep safari followed by a camp dinner.
