Croatia Cycling Holidays
There may be no better place to enjoy a leisurely cycling holiday than in Croatia and along the Dalmatian Coast.
Our small group guided and self guided cycling holidays run throughout summer when the weather is good. In most cases your adventure will take some way along the Dalmatian coast running either north to south or vice versa.
Cycling will continue for a few hours every day (sometimes with days off) with your guide leading he way or if you're self guided using your map:)
The holidays are designed for beginners as well as cyclists who are more experienced. Please be aware that wearing a cycling helmet is compulsory on all cycling holidays and you must take your own.
Do I need cycling experience?
No! These cycling holidays are for beginners as well as those more experienced. You'll have full instruction from an experienced guide. If you've chosen a self guided adventure we're sure you'll be ok:)
I am a solo traveller, can I still go?
Yes. 50% of our guests are solo travellers so you're in good company. You'd be paired with someone of the same gender to share a room with or you can choose your own room for a small supplement.
Is the cycling tough?
The holidays are designed for anyone of average fitness and so are not too challenging. The physical rating on each adventure will give an idea (1 is very leisurely with 5 being challenging).
What gear is provided?
Accommodation, Guide, Bike, Support vehicle (group tours only) , usually some meals, map.
What do I need to pack?
A packing list can be found in each brochure but as a rough guide for a cycling trip:
- comfortable cycling gear (shorts, tops, shoes)
- cycling helmet
- camera (water proof would be good)
- hat & sunglasses
- suncream
- dry towel and beach towel
- zip bag / day pack

What happens to my luggage?
On all cycling holidays your luggage is transport from point to point for you. The guided trips have a support vehicle which will carry your luggage (and you if you want a break!)
How far do we cycle?
Difficult to say as every tour is different but an anywhere between 10km and 40km per day.
What If the weather is bad?
The guide will make a decision every morning on the suitability of the weather. If the guide cancels cycling that day the decision is final as it is for everyone safety.
What else is there to do?
This depends where you are but often exploring on foot is an option and / or the coast or beach.
