Arrival at the Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO). After customs and enter Costa Rica, a representative of GWA will be waiting for you outside the airport. You will have a private transfer to your hotel located in San Jose. Meals: none Country Inn & Suites By Radisson San Jose, or similar (Standard Hotel, 3 Stars).

Early transfer to the Pacuare River, located in the Caribbean slopes. You will raft through the incredible rainforest on 19 miles of Class III-IV whitewater. Cascading waterfalls, lush forests, exotic plants, birds and other animals, and exciting rapids make this a tropical adventure packed with rich experiences that you will remember forever. A delicious lunch will be waiting for you at the end. Then, you will take transportation to your next destination, the Arenal Volcano. Meals: breakfast, lunch. Enjoy a leisure morning. In the afternoon, you will walk along the old lava beds and learn about the volcano, the tropical forest surrounding it and the abundant wildlife from an informative guide. Following the tour of the volcano, you will visit a beautiful hot springs resort, where you can recover all your energy and strength for the rest of your trip. Let’s go to your next destination, Monteverde Cloud Forest. Van-Boat-Van transfer from Arenal Volcano to Monteverde, crossing the Arenal Lake by boat. In the afternoon, you will ride a meek horse across the magical cloud forest, admiring the most astonishing landscapes in the area, the sunset looking at the Nicoya Gulf is priceless. Have you ever thought about how is to fly like a bird? This is your opportunity to fly over the canopy trees and experiencing all your adrenaline to the top. This is a very fun and safe zip line tour. Then, get your boots ready to walk along the hanging bridges of Monteverde. It consists of a combination of trails and seven bridges where you will have the opportunity to explore all the levels of the cloud forest, as well as the habitats of every single one, starting from the ground and getting to the top of the great trees.
