We begin our day with an early departure from Paris, setting our sights on Normandy. Our first pause will be at Giverny, where you'll have the chance to explore Monet's House and its stunning gardens (admission included). It's a perfect opportunity to delve into impressionist art, a movement that flourished in Normandy. Our journey continues to Rouen, the capital of Normandy, known for its meandering medieval streets and magnificent cathedral. Here, you can savour a stroll and indulge in a local lunch. Later, we proceed to Arromanches, a site of immense historical significance as the beaches here echo the momentous D-Day landings of World War II. Our travels for the day conclude in Caen, where you'll have leisure time to explore the vibrant central district. Please note that from November to April, Monet's house remains closed to visitors, and as such, we will not be stopping at Giverny during this period.
