Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Paris

    Welcome to your tour of Paris! Upon arrival, we will arrange your transfer directly to the hotel, allowing you some free time to settle in and explore the surroundings at your own pace. In the afternoon, important information regarding the start of your tour will be available on the notice boards at the hotel reception, ensuring you're fully informed about the exciting days ahead. Enjoy your first taste of Paris and get ready for a remarkable journey. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.

  • Day 2

    Paris

    Today, we embark on a captivating panoramic tour of Paris, led by a knowledgeable local guide. We'll explore the iconic sights and immerse ourselves in the city's unique charm. Following this, we transport you to the delightful Montmartre district. Known for its vibrant street artists and charming eateries, Montmartre offers an ideal spot for lunch. After our visit, we return to the hotel, making a stop at the Louvre for those who wish to explore the city centre further. We recommend a visit to this world-famous museum. Your afternoon is free for personal exploration. In the evening, you have the option to experience a lively variety show, adding a touch of Parisian nightlife to your day.

  • Day 3

    Paris

    On day three, we head to Versailles, famous for its grand palace and exquisite gardens. As admission is not included, you might choose to explore the grounds on your own or simply soak in the atmosphere of this historic location. In the afternoon, back in Paris, you can enjoy leisure time. Your guide will be on hand to suggest options such as a scenic boat trip along the Seine or a visit to the lively Latin Quarter, providing plenty of opportunities to experience the city at your own pace.

  • Day 4

    Paris

    We begin our day with an early departure from Paris, setting our sights on Normandy. Our first pause will be at Giverny, where you'll have the chance to explore Monet's House and its stunning gardens (admission included). It's a perfect opportunity to delve into impressionist art, a movement that flourished in Normandy. Our journey continues to Rouen, the capital of Normandy, known for its meandering medieval streets and magnificent cathedral. Here, you can savour a stroll and indulge in a local lunch. Later, we proceed to Arromanches, a site of immense historical significance as the beaches here echo the momentous D-Day landings of World War II. Our travels for the day conclude in Caen, where you'll have leisure time to explore the vibrant central district. Please note that from November to April, Monet's house remains closed to visitors, and as such, we will not be stopping at Giverny during this period.

  • Day 5

    Caen

    In the morning, we'll set off for Mont-Saint-Michel, famously known as "The Marvel." This incredible site, surrounded by the sea, invites you to explore its enriched history and the magnificent abbey that crowns it. Our journey then continues to Brittany, with a stop at Saint-Malo. Here, you can admire the robust city walls that have proudly stood the test of time and enjoy lunch at your leisure. Complementing our day, we�ll proceed to the quaint Breton village of Dinan, where you will be treated to a traditional crepe and a refreshing drink. Our day concludes in Rennes, the capital of Brittany, celebrated for its remarkable historic centre.

  • Day 6

    Rennes

    Our day begins as we set off for Angers. If you're keen, you can visit the castle, which features the largest medieval tapestry that illustrates the Apocalypse. We then venture into the scenic Loire Valley, reaching Tours, the region's capital, situated along the banks of the picturesque Loire River. Here, you'll have some free time to wander and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, we visit the Ch�teau de Villandry, famed for its outstanding gardens and array of flowers � garden admission is included. Our journey continues to Amboise, known for its charming medieval quarter, where we'll stay overnight. Dinner will be provided, offering a pleasant close to an enriching day.

  • Day 7

    Amboise

    Today's adventure in the Loire Valley begins with a leisurely walk in Amboise. This picturesque town is home to Ch�teau du Clos Luc�, the residence where Leonardo da Vinci spent his final three years. Embark on an exploration of the renowned Ch�teau de Chenonceau, an architectural marvel that elegantly spans the river � your entrance is already arranged. Our journey continues to Chambord, where we will wander through the park surrounding the grandest ch�teau in the Loire Valley. Later, we'll make our way back to Paris, reaching the city in the evening.

  • Day 8

    Paris

    Following breakfast, our adventure draws to a close. We hope you'll take home a treasure trove of wonderful memories from an unforgettable journey.
