This tour will take you to Rincon de La Vieja where you can take in the beautiful nature and participate in numerous activities, including horseback riding, hiking, ziplining and climbing. Rincon de La Vieja Volcano National Park is home to volcanoes, waterfalls, forest trails as well as over 300 bird species, reptiles and small mammals. The second part of the tour will take you to Tamarindo where you can relax on the beautiful beaches and enjoy a Costa Rican sunset on a catamaran tour.
Itinerary
Day 1
Private Transfer from Liberia to Rincon de la Vieja
Rincon de la Vieja is home to the Rincon de La Vieja Volcano National Park. Rincon de la Vieja is located to the northwest of Guanacaste's, very close to Liberia, and this place is perfect for great activities to keep visitors busy such as hiking trails and Horseback rides are great ways to enjoy the area's natural beauty and make memorable adventures. There are numerous waterfalls in the area, the largest of which are the Oropendola Waterfall and the La Victoria Waterfall, which pour into the Colorado River. In the National Park sections, Pailas area and Santa Maria area, here you will find trails to the waterfalls, fumaroles and mud pits.

Day 2
Horserback Ride to Las Pailas Sector at the National Park
From Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin, you ride our friendly ranch horses for 45 minutes on a pretty forest trail to the Las Pailas entrance of the Rincon de la Vieja National Park. Las Pailas, which means “the cauldrons” in Spanish, spectacularly shows off the awesome power of the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano, the largest and most active volcano in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Steam and sulfur pour out of the yellow and rust-colored ground at natural fumaroles. Clay and coffee-colored pools boil with hot volcanic water, and smooth gray volcanic mud bubbles and explodes in large pits. It’s an experience like no other volcano in Costa Rica.
Hiking in the Rincon de la Vieja National Park on the Las Pailas loop trail takes you 2.5 miles (3.5 kilometers) through dry tropical forest to see the best views of the volcano, incredible nature, and volcanic activity. You cross little rivers and see small waterfalls along the trail.
More than 300 bird species live here, along with animals like white-faced, howler, and spider monkeys, armadillos, collared peccaries, iguanas, snakes, and white-nosed coatis.
Day 3
Canyon Canopy Tour
This one-of-a-kind zip line tour has you fly through the trees on zip lines, rappel, rock climb, swing like Tarzan, and cross hanging bridges over a narrow river canyon. It’s an incredible adrenaline rush! Your playground is the spectacular White River Canyon, formed by water erosion over millions of years.
Have exhilarating fun on seven zip line cables, one hanging bridge, two Tarzan swings, a controlled 20-meter (65-foot) rappel, natural rock climbing wall, and via ferrata traverses and climbs.
Day 4
Private Transportation from Rincon de la Vieja to Tamarindo
Tamarindo is located at Guanacaste on the Pacific coast. In the center of town, there are many options for restaurants and bars. Tamarindo is a destination perfect to relax at the golden sand beach and enjoy the sunny days. The town offer a very active night life and surf is one of the most popular activities in the area.
Near Tamarindo stunning beach such as Langosta beach, a beautiful white sand beach can find. Marino Las Baulas National Park is a protected area that serves as a safe place for the leatherback sea turtle population. They can use this area as a nesting site, without fear of being captured or having their eggs stolen. You can also see many other animals in the park, including over 150 species of birds.

Catamaran Tour Sunset / Lunch included
The catamaran tour from Tamarindo beach will take you silently along Costa Rica’s Gold Coast while passing some of Guanacaste’s exotic bays, white-sand beaches, and tropical jungles. Stay alert in case you spot some dolphins, sea turtles, flying fish, or even a whale.
Once the catamaran gets to a tranquil bay, you can jump into the water and do the snorkel activity while the crew prepares a light lunch. After the snorkeling, you can take a sunbath and admire the beautiful scenery.
