Itinerary
Day 1
Welcome to Iceland
Individual transfer by Flybus shuttle from Keflavík Airport to your accommodation in Reykjavík. If time allows, you may wish to explore Iceland’s vibrant capital at your own pace - perhaps stroll along the harbour, visit a local café, or discover the city’s colourful streets and Nordic character.
Day 2
Geothermal Wonders & Reykjavík Highlights
Begin the day with a relaxing soak in the famous Blue Lagoon, surrounded by dramatic lava fields and steaming geothermal scenery. Continue exploring the Reykjanes Peninsula, an area known for its rugged coastline, volcanic landscapes, geothermal hot springs, and striking mountain views.
Later, enjoy a guided tour of Reykjavík, where modern Nordic culture meets Viking history. The day concludes with a local gourmet tasting, offering a flavour of Icelandic cuisine. Please Note: The tour starts on day 2, just before08-00-0900 am, Meet with your tour guide on day(refer to your travel documents for the exact departure time)
Day 3
Reykjavík Exploration & Solar Eclipse Experience
Enjoy a relaxed morning in Reykjavík, the world’s northernmost capital. Spend time exploring the lively main shopping street, Laugavegur, known for its independent boutiques, cosy cafés, local design shops, and art galleries. It is the perfect opportunity to soak up the city atmosphere and perhaps pick up a few Icelandic souvenirs.
Later in the day, prepare for the extraordinary Solar Eclipse experience. As the moon gradually moves across the sun, daylight will fade, creating one of nature’s most remarkable spectacles. We provide special eclipse glasses so you can safely enjoy this rare celestial event.
For an enhanced viewing experience, a telescope will be available at a welcoming local restaurant, allowing you to observe the eclipse in comfort. The evening concludes with a memorable 3-course dinner accompanied by a glass of sparkling wine - the perfect way to reflect on this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Please note: Clear skies cannot be guaranteed on Solar Eclipse Day. Like the northern lights, eclipse visibility depends on weather conditions beyond our control. Every effort will be made to provide the best possible viewing experience, and itineraries may be adjusted if necessary.
Day 4
Golden Circle Discovery & Icelandic Tastes
Today we explore Iceland’s famous Golden Circle route. Visit Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet, and where Iceland’s parliament was founded over 1,000 years ago.
Continue to the magnificent Gullfoss waterfall, where glacial water crashes dramatically into a rugged canyon, before visiting the geothermal area of erupting geysers and bubbling hot springs.
The day finishes with a taste of traditional Icelandic hot spring bread, freshly baked underground using geothermal heat and served with butter, boiled eggs, and herring - a simple but authentic local speciality.
Day 5
Departure from Iceland
Individual transfer by Flybus shuttle from your accommodation in Reykjavík to Keflavík Airport.
