If you arrive early maybe visit the Georgian National Museum and learn about the country’s history or walk through the Dry Bridge Flea Market and browse the various artworks and handicrafts for sale. Tonight, maybe head out to dinner with your fellow travellers and try a classic dish like khachapuri (cheese bread) or khinkali (dumplings).

  • Day 2

  • This was an amazing trip. Anton our guide was excellent and made everything easy for us. The hikes in the Caucasus Mountains were the highlight of the trip. Please be aware though that for 2026 Intrepid appear to have massively downgraded this tour by removing much of the time in the Caucasus. I would not have booked the trip with Intrepid based on the 2026 itinerary.

  • Such a great trip to experience the highlights of Georgia, from the mountains to the coast, with plenty of great food and wine, and a really interesting destination to learn about!
