Itinerary
Day 1
Chicago
Welcome to Chicago! Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel, where you can take some time to settle in and explore at your leisure. In the afternoon, we'll provide you with details about the start of your tour, which you can find either directly from our representative or via the information signs at the hotel reception. Later in the day, we'll take you to Millennium Park, a vibrant urban space known for its stunning art and architecture. From there, you'll visit The Loop, a bustling neighbourhood famous for its theatres and dazzling neon lights. You're free to explore, perhaps catching a show or simply enjoying the lively atmosphere. Dinner is on your own, allowing you to choose from a variety of local eateries. Afterwards, return to the hotel for a restful night's stay. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2
Chicago
Following breakfast, we embark on a panoramic tour of Chicago, showcasing the city's most iconic sights. Highlights include the New Millennium Park, Willis Tower, and Grant Park. We will also explore The Loop with its elevated train system, as well as Downtown and the Museum Campus, home to the Adler Planetarium, The Field Museum of Natural History, and the Shedd Aquarium. Our tour takes us across the Chicago River bridges, offering a stunning view of the city from the lake. The remainder of the morning is yours to wander the city centre or admire the view from the Willis Tower. Enjoy some free time for lunch and explore Navy Pier, once the world's largest pier upon its 1916 construction and now a bustling hub of leisure activities. If you wish, you may also take one of the renowned water tours along the Chicago River, providing a unique perspective of this city's diverse and impressive architecture. Tonight's accommodation is in Chicago.
Day 3
Chicago
On the third day of our journey, we set off early from Chicago, heading towards Cleveland. We arrive in the late afternoon, giving you ample free time to explore this vibrant city. You might choose to visit the renowned Cleveland Museum of Art, which offers an impressive collection of works spanning centuries. Alternatively, savour the flavours of Little Italy, known for its delightful array of restaurants, or take a leisurely stroll through Downtown. In the evening, we suggest dining along the inviting Calle 4 and Euclid Avenue, where you can enjoy a variety of culinary experiences. We will then settle into our accommodation for the night, ready for tomorrow's adventures.
Day 4
Cleveland
After breakfast, we will embark on a brief panoramic tour of Cleveland. Later, you might wish to explore the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, a true emblem of American cultural heritage, showcasing the journey of rock and roll from its inception to the modern era. Following lunch, we will make our way to Niagara Falls, where we will arrive by late afternoon. Accommodation for the evening will be at a hotel near the falls.
Day 5
Niagara Falls
Following breakfast, we embark on an exciting day exploring Niagara Falls, beginning with Goat Island. Here, we get an up-close view of the rapids and the iconic Horseshoe Falls. We then board the Maid of the Mist, a small boat taking us to the base of the magnificent waterfalls, allowing us to experience their power first-hand. In the afternoon, you have the chance to visit one of the city's renowned outlet centres for some leisure shopping. We return to our hotel afterwards. Please note: the Maid of the Mist ride is unavailable from October to March due to weather conditions.
Day 6
Niagara Falls
We continue our journey through Canada, arriving in Windsor, where we'll pause at its scenic Riverfront. This spot offers stunning views of Detroit across the river. Our adventure then takes us to the fascinating Henry Ford Museum, where entry is included, providing insights into America's industrial and automotive history. After exploring the museum, we'll have time to savour the vibrant atmosphere of Greektown. It's an ideal location for dinner before we return to the hotel for the night.
Day 7
Detroit
After an early start in the morning, we set off and journey across the state of Michigan, arriving at the charming town of Saugatuck. Here, you'll have some free time to explore the delightful shopping streets and enjoy a leisurely lunch. In the afternoon, we commence our return journey to Chicago.
Day 8
Chicago
