Canggu to Gili T - 9 Days

Upon your arrival in Bali after a long flight, we will be at the airport to greet you and transport you to the hotel. You'll have ample time to relax, unwind, and get acquainted with the other members of your group. We'll get together with the group for a welcome dinner at around 19:00, so you can get to know everyone before our adventure begins tomorrow.

Please note: This tour is designed for younger travellers looking for a backpacker-style experience and to meet like-minded people. The average age on this tour is around 21 - 35, and we are unfortunately unable to take any travellers over the age of 39. Immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of Bali as we explore stunning ancient temples, participate in a Bahasa language lesson, and learn how to create a Canang Sari, a traditional local offering. Afterwards, we'll enjoy a breathtaking sunset at a beach club before getting ready for an exciting night out!

Canggu is one of the world's top surfing destinations, and today, we'll head to the beach for an included surf lesson with local Balinese instructors. There's plenty of time to put your new skills to the test as you do your best to catch a wave or two - good luck!

Canggu - Lovina. Today, we are heading to the lesser-known natural wonder of Lovina, an unspoiled paradise with breathtaking rice paddies and traditional culture. Along the way, we will explore intriguing temples, take a refreshing dip under a waterfall, and admire the beautiful rice paddies. On arrival, we’ll settle into our exceptional accommodation nestled high in the mountains, surrounded by rice paddies with a view of the ocean. 

After enjoying a delightful breakfast by the beach, we board a traditional Balinese outrigger boat to cruise along the stunning coastline, where we hope to spot playful dolphins and other marine life. Next, we visit a local family to engage in hands-on activities such as basket weaving and coffee production, gaining insights into traditional Balinese life. We end the day back at our tranquil accommodation, with time to relax in the infinity pool and enjoy a drink or two.

Lovina - Gili Trawangan. Leaving Bali behind, we'll take a fast ferry to the breathtaking island of Gili T, known for its stunning white sands, car-free streets and turquoise waters. This afternoon, you'll have free time to relax, explore the island, and soak up the sun. In the evening, we'll venture out to enjoy a magical sunset and experience the vibrant island nightlife!

Since Gili T has no motorized vehicles, we will explore the island by bicycle today - the island is only six square kilometres in size, so it won't take us long to cycle around it! After our bike ride, there is free time for you to kick back on its white sandy beaches, and enjoy a stunning sunset! 

Gili T is the largest of the three islands that make up the Gili archipelago. On today's included boat trip, we will see the stunning coastline of the other two islands, with plenty of time for swimming and snorkelling. If we're lucky, we might spot a sea turtle, or some of the Gili Islands' other incredible wildlife.

Our tour comes to an end today. You can depart this morning, making your own way to the airport or your next destination. Although there is no departure transfer included, your tour leader will be available to help you plan your onward travel and is on hand to assist you. Safe travels!
