Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Arrival in Zagreb!

    Once you have arrived in Zagreb, you will be met and transferred to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day will be at your leisure to explore Zagreb at your own pace, grab a coffee at a cafe, or relax.

  • Day 2

    Zagreb Walking Tour

    Today, we will embark on a walking tour through Zagreb, Croatia’s lively capital. We’ll explore the city’s historic heart, wandering through both the Lower and Upper Towns. Along the way, we visit St Mark’s Church with its striking tiled roof, the Government Palace, the medieval Lotrscak Tower, the impressive Cathedral, and the iconic Stone Gate. After that, you will have free time to explore the vibrant Dolac Market or venture to one of the local restaurants or pubs.

  • Day 3

    Plitvice Lakes National Parks & Transfer to Opatija

    Zagreb - Plitvice Lakes - Opatija. This morning, we set off for Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site and Croatia’s oldest national park. Famous for its chain of 16 interconnected lakes linked by countless waterfalls, the park offers stunning natural scenery. While there, you’ll wander along wooden walkways and forest trails, taking in the vibrant greenery and crystal-clear lakes that make this area so remarkable.

    Later, we will continue our journey to Opatija, where we will make our way to the hotel and you will have the rest of the day at leisure.

  • Day 4

    Opatija Walking Tour

    After our final breakfast, we take a guided walking tour of Opatija, a charming seaside town on the shores of Kvarner Bay. Known as the birthplace of Croatian tourism, Opatija was once a favoured retreat for the Habsburgs, European aristocrats, and cultural figures of the 19th century such as Gustav Mahler and Isadora Duncan. As we stroll through its elegant streets, we’ll discover traces of its grand past and coastal charm.

    After, depending on your departure flight time, you may have some time to further explore Opatija, grab some lunch at a restaurant or relax before making your own way to the airport.
