Essential trip information

Our Important Notes and Packing List cover all essentials, from necessary equipment to inclusions, ensuring you're fully equipped and informed for this extraordinary adventure and more.

Frequently asked questions

  • Are airport transfers included?

Your arrival transfer is included. You'll be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel in Bangkok. A transfer to Phuket airport is available for £30 and we can add this to your booking.
  • How much money would I need to take?

This is very difficult to answer as Thailand can be very cheap for food and drinks so it depends on where you decide to venture! A maximum of £30 per day would be more than enough for most people.
  • Is Wifi available throughout the trip?

Yes. Wifi is of course available at all accommodation. We recommend taking an unlocked phone and buying an internet/data roaming package at the hotel. Its cheap, unlimited use for 15 days can be as little as £20 and their 4G/5G is often better than hotel WiFi.
  • Are vegetarian and vegan meals available?

Absolutely. Most meals are vegetable based with the addition of meat and fish if one chooses.
  • What type of luggage should I take?

It's up to you! A backpack or suitcase is fine. The trip is more 'posh backpacking'. So, we stay in lovely hotels with pools, enjoy delicious meals and experience a high level of service throughout.
  • Are there any dress codes to be aware of?

Nope, apart from sensible shoes when walking and clothes to covers legs and shoulders at temples.
  • Are travellers expected to tip the guide?

No, you are not but if you want to you can and we're sure the guide would be very appreciative.
  • Can I get my own room?

Yes, solo rooms are available for a supplement. Please see the payment page for room options or contact our team for details.
