Combining tradition and modernity, Cousiño Macul wines capture region's essence. Located in the beautiful Pirque Valley, just 45 minutes from Santiago, the vineyard has a fascinating history. The Macul winery was commissioned from a firm of French architects by Luis Cousiño in 1870 and built with bricks and limestone. An expert guide will take us through the vineyard's old cellars, we will learn about the winemaking process, and we will see the contrast between the techniques used in the 19th century and the sustainable practices nowadays. Customer reviews & ratings
Fantastic guides and support staff. I loved the way they handle airport transfers. It is highly recommended while travelling South America.
Shyam Jun, 2024 VerifiedWe recently spent 4 weeks travelling around South America and it was the trip of a lifetime. Our pick ups and drop offs at various airports, and our conveyance to our accommodation was faultless. Our guides included Fred (Fouad), Millie, Silvio and Alg (Algeria) and others too. Our guides were fantastic, knew so much about the country, culture and history and had the best sense of humour. They made our experience so memorable and rewarding. We have been in the tourism business for 25 years and have high expectations, especially when it comes to customer service.
