Itinerary
Day 1
Discover New York City
Your expert local guide will meet the group in the lobby of our start hotel for an introductory briefing before heading out to explore the Big Apple. We begin at Chelsea Market, where you’ll have around an hour to explore its diverse food and retail offerings. From here, we take a walk along the High Line – a former elevated railway turned urban park – offering striking views of Manhattan’s skyline and a close-up look at the Vessel, a striking piece of contemporary architecture.
We’ll then travel by public transport to board the included ferry for a close-up view of the iconic Statue of Liberty. Returning to Manhattan, we’ll pause for a moment of reflection at the 9/11 Memorial. If time allows, you may wish to visit the One World Observatory for panoramic views across the city.
There’s free time to explore the Oculus shopping centre and the stylish streets of SoHo, before continuing to Wall Street – the heart of global finance – where we uncover its intriguing Dutch origins. We round off the day with a guided evening tour to see the city illuminated, taking in the electric atmosphere of Times Square and Broadway. After a packed first day, we check in for an overnight stay to rest and recharge.
Day 2
Brooklyn & Coney Island
Today offers a deeper dive into New York’s boroughs, with a mix of flavours, culture and seaside nostalgia. We start with a breakfast food tour in the fashionable DUMBO district of Brooklyn – where former industrial spaces now house independent boutiques, cafés and restaurants.
Afterwards, we take the subway to the legendary Coney Island. Once there, you’ll have time to explore the historic boardwalk and Luna Park’s classic rides and carnival games. You can also visit the Coney Island Museum for a glimpse into the area's colourful past. Don’t miss the chance to try an iconic Nathan’s hot dog while enjoying sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Day 3
Lower East Side to Central Park
On our final day in the city, we begin with a food-tasting tour in the Lower East Side – a neighbourhood where generations of immigrant communities have preserved their culinary traditions. Sample everything from knishes and pickles to bialys and babka. We continue to Chinatown and Little Italy for further tastings that celebrate the city’s rich multicultural heritage.
After lunch, we’ll make our way to Central Park for a walk through one of the world’s most famous urban green spaces. Following the main programme, you’ll have free time around Columbus Circle and Central Park. You might wish to visit the American Museum of Natural History, MoMA or the Guggenheim.
We regroup in the afternoon, and your guide will accompany you to your next destination or the airport – marking the end of your New York adventure.
