Itinerary
Day 1
Manila
Welcome to Manila, capital of the Philippines. On arrival in the city, you will be collected at the airport and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax or head out and explore the city.
Day 2
Fly to Bohol
Manila - Bohol. After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport for your included 90-minute flight south to Bohol, one of the Philippines premiere culture and beach destinations. On arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 3
Bohol sightseeing
Today you embark on a full-day tour of Bohol. Your first destination is the Philippine Tarsier Sanctuary in Corella, home to the endangered tarsier, one of the world’s smallest primates. These nocturnal creatures, known for their enormous eyes and ability to rotate their heads almost 180 degrees, can be seen leaping agilely between branches in their natural habitat.
Next, visit the historic Blood Compact site in Baclayon, commemorating the 1565 pact of friendship between Spanish explorer Miguel Lopez de Legazpi and local chieftain Datu Sikatuna. A short stop in Baclayon will also include a visit to the Baclayon Church, one of the oldest stone churches in the Philippines, dating back to 1727. Inside, you’ll find a museum that showcases religious artifacts, 16th-century vestments, and hymnals written on animal skin.
Continue your journey through the stunning Bilar man-made forest, a 2-kilometre stretch of densely planted mahogany trees that form a natural canopy over the road. From here, head to the iconic Chocolate Hills, a geological marvel of more than 1,200 limestone mounds. These hills turn brown in the dry season, giving them their ‘chocolate’ name. Climb to the viewpoint to take in the panoramic view of the surrounding landscape.
Your adventure concludes with a relaxing cruise along the Loboc River aboard a floating restaurant. Enjoy a buffet lunch of Filipino dishes as you glide past lush riverside scenery. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon.
Day 4
Bohol at leisure
Today is completely free for you to relax or further explore Bohol. We strongly recommend a beach day, as you will struggle to find better beaches anywhere in the world than in Bohol!
Day 5
Fly to El Nido
Bohol - El Nido. Enjoy some more free time this morning before a transfer to the airport for your included flight west to El Nido (flight time approx 1hr 40). You will be transferred to your accommodation, and the rest of the day is at leisure. Your meals in El Nido are all-inclusive.
Day 6
Exploring El Nido
You may wish to rise early today in order to catch a magical sunrise over Bacuit Bay. Today you can visit the famous Small and Big Lagoons, enjoy swimming and kayaking opportunities in the crystal waters of the bay, and perhaps even visit one of the smaller nearby islands.
Day 7
El Nido at leisure
Today is completely free for you to hit the beach, swim, snorkel and enjoy the tropical paradise that is El Nido.
Day 8
Manila
El Nido - Manila. Enjoy some more leisure time this morning before you are transferred to the airport for your included flight to Manila (flight time approx 1hr 30). Your tour comes to an end on arrival back in Manila, you will need to organise your own onward transportation.
