Summary

On this 7-day tour, journey through southern Spain’s vibrant cities and historic landscapes. Travel from Lisbon to Caceres to see Plaza Mayor and the medieval old town, then continue to Seville to visit Plaza de España and the Santa Cruz quarter. See the White Villages to Ronda, known for Puente Nuevo and its traditional bullring, before relaxing along the Costa del Sol. In Granada, explore the Alhambra and Generalife gardens, then head to Toledo for panoramic views from Mirador del Valle and the old Jewish Quarter. Conclude with a city tour of Madrid featuring the Royal Palace and Puerta del Sol before returning to Lisbon.

Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Lisbon to Caceres & Seville

    Lisbon (Portugal) - Carceres (Spain) - Seville. This morning, we depart from Lisbon at 7:30 AM, heading toward the Extremadura region and arriving in Caceres. Enjoy free time to explore Plaza Mayor and stroll through the old city, known for its famous and well-preserved medieval quarter, a recognized World Heritage site. There's free time for lunch before we continue south to Andalucía, arriving in Seville, where dinner is included.

    Please note: This tour is bi-lingual and will be conducted in Spanish as well as in English.

    Meeting Point: Hotel Lutecia Smart Design, Av. Frei Miguel Contreiras 52, 1749-086 Lisboa, Portugal at 7:30.

  • Day 2

    Discovering Seville

    Begin the day with breakfast, followed by a morning sightseeing tour that includes visits to Maria Luisa Park, Plaza de Espana, and the exteriors of the stunning Cathedral and its bell tower, the Giralda. We'll also explore the charming Santa Cruz neighbourhood, known for its streets, squares, and narrow alleys. Lunch today is included at a local restaurant.

    After the tour, the rest of the day is at leisure in Seville. If you choose, there's an optional river cruise on the Guadalquivir, offering panoramic views of the Gold Tower and Expo 92, or you can visit the Maestranza bullring. In the evening, as an optional activity, you can attend a flamenco show.

  • Day 3

    Ronda & Costa del Sol

    Seville- Ronda - Costa del Sol. We'll depart for the Route of the White Villages and Ronda. You'll have some free time to take in sweeping views from the Puente Nuevo bridge, explore the historic bullring, or stroll through the charming old town with its whitewashed buildings and quiet plazas.

    Then, we'll continue on to the Costa del Sol for the night. On most departures, we stay in the town of Torremolinos, though this is subject to change. Once we have arrived at our accommodation, we will enjoy dinner.

  • Day 4

    Exploring Granada & the Alhambra

    Costa del Sol - Granada. Today, we depart for Granada. Here, we will explore the stunning Alhambra and Generalife, the former residence of the Moorish kings, renowned for its magnificent fountains, gardens, and arches.

    This tour includes visits to the Palace of Carlos V, the Archaeological Museum, the Church of Santa María de la Alhambra, the Royal Chapel, a stroll through the Alcaiceria the historic silk market, and Cathedral Square.

    Please note: If tickets to the Alhambra and Generalife are unavailable on specific dates, as determined by the Patronato, an alternative city tour of Granada will be offered. This will include visits to the Palace of Carlos V, the Archaeological Museum, the Church of Santa María de la Alhambra, the Royal Chapel, as well as a walk through the Alcaicería silk market and Cathedral Square.

  • Day 5

    Granada to Toledo & Madrid

    Granada - Toledo - Madrid. After breakfast, we will depart for the Imperial City of Toledo, known for its rich history and impressive monuments. We'll begin with a panoramic view from the Mirador del Valle before taking a walk through the atmospheric old town. We will enjoy lunch before continuing on to Madrid, where the rest of the day will be at leisure.

  • Day 6

    Madrid Sightseeing

    This morning, we’ll enjoy a guided city tour to discover Madrid’s key sights, including major streets, central squares, and notable buildings. In the afternoon, you will have free time to continue exploring the city at your own pace—perhaps browse local shops, relax at a café, or enjoy dinner at one of Madrid’s many restaurants.

    Please note: Please note: During the stay in Madrid, there will be no tour escort service. All tours in Madrid will be conducted by a local guide for included sightseeing.

  • Day 7

    Madrid to Trujillo & Lisbon

    After breakfast, we’ll depart for the region of Extremadura and make a stop in Trujillo, known as the birthplace of several Spanish conquerors. There will be free time to explore the impressive Plaza Mayor before we continue our journey across the Portuguese border to Lisbon. Upon arrival in Lisbon, our services will come to an end.
