Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Arrival in Delhi

Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. India's capital is a dynamic city where ancient heritage meets modern growth. Set along the Yamuna River, Delhi encompasses the remains of seven historic cities. New Delhi, designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, is known for its tree-lined avenues and colonial architecture. According to legend, Delhi was originally founded as Indraprastha by the Pandavas in 1200 B.C.

Once you have arrived at the hotel, you will have the rest of the day at leisure to explore the city, grab lunch or relax.

  • Day 2

    Exploring Old & New Delhi

This morning, you’ll explore Old Delhi on a guided tour, passing through the 17th-century city of Shahjahanabad. You’ll visit Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1656. From there, walk or take a rickshaw through the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk to the Red Fort for a photo stop. Completed in 1648, the fort was once the centre of Mughal power.

Later in New Delhi, you’ll visit Raj Ghat, the memorial marking Mahatma Gandhi’s cremation site. You’ll then drive past India Gate, a 1931 war memorial honouring Indian soldiers, and the President’s House, formerly the Viceroy’s residence during British rule.

In the afternoon, visit Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the first Mughal garden tomb in India. You’ll end the day at Qutub Minar, a 72-metre-high brick minaret built in 1206, and part of another UNESCO-listed complex.

Later, enjoy free time or join an optional food tour in Old Delhi, sampling jalebis, spiced samosas, Raj Kachori, stuffed parathas, kulia ki chaat, rabri-faluda, chole bhature, and sweet lassi.

  • Day 3

    Delhi to Agra

Delhi - Agra. Today, you will depart from Delhi early, heading to Agra on a 4–5-hour drive through the highway and countryside. Once you have arrived in Agra, you will be dropped off at your hotel for check-in.

In the afternoon, you will embark on a sightseeing tour of Agra, beginning with the world-famous Taj Mahal. Next, explore Agra Fort, a 16th-century Mughal fortress built by Emperor Akbar, known for its towering red sandstone walls and elegant architecture. Inside, you'll find the Pearl Mosque, Jahangir Mahal, Diwan-i-Khas, Diwan-i-Am, Sheesh Mahal, and Musamman Burj, which offers a beautiful view of the Taj Mahal from within the fort.

You will then have the rest of the day at your leisure. Alternatively, you can attend the Mohabbate Taj Show, a 1.5-hour evening performance that brings the romantic legend of the Taj Mahal to life through music, dance, and vibrant storytelling.

  • Day 4

The Taj Mahal & Transfer to Jaipur

Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur. Early this morning, you will start your day at the Taj Mahal, a breathtaking symbol of love and one of the world’s most iconic landmarks. This masterpiece of Mughal architecture combines elements from Persian, Islamic, and Indian styles, creating a monument of striking beauty and harmony. You will then return to the hotel for breakfast.

After breakfast, you’ll drive to Fatehpur Sikri, a former Mughal capital located 37 km from Agra. Built in red sandstone by Emperor Akbar in honour of the Sufi saint Salim Chishti, this abandoned city is admired for its blend of architectural strength and artistic detail. In the afternoon, continue your journey to Jaipur. On arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Please note: The Taj Mahal is closed every Friday.

  • Day 5

    Jaipur City Tour

After breakfast, meet your private guide and begin your Jaipur sightseeing with a visit to Amber Fort. Set on a hilltop, the fort offers sweeping views of the surrounding landscape. You’ll take a jeep ride up and down the hill, while your guide shares the fort’s rich history and significance.

You will then continue to the City Palace, a striking complex that blends Rajasthani and Mughal design, and houses an impressive collection of royal textiles, costumes, and weaponry. Next, see the Hawa Mahal, or Palace of Winds, built to allow royal women to observe street processions unseen. You will then finish at Jantar Mantar, an extraordinary 18th-century observatory created by Maharaja Jai Singh, showcasing his passion for astronomy.

You will then have the rest of the day at leisure in Jaipur. Alternatively, you will have the option of joining an optional tour, such as a leopard safari taking you through Jaipur’s rugged terrain for a chance to spot these elusive big cats in their natural habitat.

  • Day 6

    Jaipur to Goa

Jaipur - Goa. This morning, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight to Goa. Goa, one of India’s most popular seaside destinations, has long drawn visitors with its sun-soaked beaches, vibrant culture, and laid-back charm. Once a haven for hippies in the 1960s, the state has since evolved into a hub for travellers seeking a mix of relaxation and lively beach experiences. While the party scene is now more refined, it remains energetic and welcoming, reflecting the rich spirit of modern-day Goa.

Once you have arrived in Goa, you will be transferred to the hotel. Where you will have the rest of the day at leisure to explore the beaches, sunbathe or explore the night life.

Please note: The flight from Jaipur to Goa is not included in the cost of your tour - we can book this flight for you on request, for a supplement. Please contact us for this.

  • Day 7

    Explore Goa at leisure

Today is free for you to enjoy Goa at your own pace. You might choose to relax on one of the region’s golden beaches, explore the local markets for handicrafts and souvenirs, or unwind at a seaside café with views of the Arabian Sea. For those interested in culture, a visit to Goa’s historic churches or Portuguese-era architecture offers a glimpse into the state’s rich colonial past.

  • Day 8
