Itinerary
Day 1
Welcome to Croatia!
Upon arrival at Split or Zadar airports, make your own way to the hotel in Vodice or Biograd. Once you have checked in the rest of the day is at your leisure. This evening join your fellow travellers for a welcome dinner at the hotel.
Please note: On this tour, you will either stay at a hotel in the town of Vodice or the town of Biograd on the Croatia's Dalmatian coast. All tour inclusions remain the same, wherever you stay. You will enjoy included excursions and free time to spend at leisure. On the excursions the maximum group size is 45. A tour leader is on hand at the hotel to provide information and assistance throughout your stay.
Day 2
Sibenik walking tour
Vodice or Biograd - Sibenik - Vodice or Biograd. We’ll start our journey with a half-day walking tour of the Old Town of Sibenik. Our local guide will take us to see the highlights of Sibenik, including the Cathedral of St. James, a three-aisled basilica with unique construction and stylistic characteristics. We will have an hour or so at leisure in Sibenik after the tour before returning to our hotel.
Day 3
Leisure day
Today will be free for you to relax, explore, and shop at your own pace in whichever town you are staying. Your guide will be happy to suggest places of interest for you to see and visit.
Day 4
Scenic boat trip to Vrske Bay and Vrgada
Vodice or Biograd - Vrske Bay - Vrgada - Vodice or Biograd. We will meet our local guide and walk the short distance to the pier to board our boat, where we will explore some of the nearby islands and discover more of the Dalmatian coast.
First, we will cruise over the Pasman Channel, known for its sparkling clear waters due to its constantly changing currents. We will then see the island of Murter and make a stop in Vrske Bay, where we will have time for swimming.
Next, we will visit the fishermen's island of Vrgada and continue cruising in search of dolphins. We will enjoy lunch on the boat while taking in the view of the Kornati archipelago.
Please Note: In the rare case of unsuitable weather, this excursion may be rescheduled for a different day.
Day 5
Vodice or Biograd at leisure
Today will be at leisure. Your local guide will be delighted to suggest activities that suit your interests. Perhaps you could further explore one of the neighbouring islands by taking an independent boat trip or visiting one of the local picturesque pebble beaches!
Day 6
Zadar sightseeing
Vodice or Biograd - Zadar - Vodice or Biograd. Today, we’ll enjoy a tour of the historic seaside town of Zadar. A walk through Zadar is a journey through time, from the Romans to the Middle Ages, the Venetians, and the modern era, many cultures have left their mark on this city. Our guide will lead us on a walking tour to visit sights such as St. Donatus’ Church, the St. Francis of Assisi Monastery, and the city walls.
We will also have the opportunity to admire the sea views from the Monument to the Sun and discover the world’s first Sea Organ. We can sit back and listen to the sounds created by the power of the waves. The rest of the afternoon will be yours to explore this historic town at your own pace.
Day 7
Final day at leisure
Today is free for you to spend as you wish. Perhaps enjoy some additional sightseeing and shopping, or simply relax on one of Dalmatia's beaches and unwind.
Day 8
Goodbye Croatia
Today, our tour will conclude after breakfast and check-out from the hotel.
