Customer reviews & ratings
We did the 5-day Coho tour which departed from Vancouver and took you to the Rockies, stopping off in Kelowna, Lake Louise, Banff and Jasper. It was very well organised and our tour guide, Esteban, was excellent! He was a good laugh and made the trip really fun. His knowledge was impressive and he stopped to point things out as we drove. He was also always on the look out for wildlife for us and would stop if we saw anything (we saw bears, deers and big horned sheep!) We had a medium size group of 10 people varying from about 18-40 years old and from all over the world. What's great about about this tours is the flexibility you have - you get given a set time at each location to go off on your own or as a group to explore. There are regular stop offs to break up the long bus journeys and you end up seeing a lot of attractions. There's a good amount of walking and hiking involved but you are never forced to do it. There's also activity options such as parasailing (highly recommend! $35) and kayaking (also excellent! $55). The hostels were all nice and clean and we were mainly sharing a room with others in our group. Overall this was a fantastic trip and we made friends with really cool, like-minded people!
Chandy Mar, 2020 VerifiedI have just landed back in Vancouver after spending five days on the Coho tour to the Rockies and can honestly say it was the best tour I have been on. I have to agree with others here that it its often the people and tour guide that really 'makes' the tour, and I was lucky enough to have a great guide and great bunch of people on the bus. Yes there its quite a lot of driving, which is expected due to the great size of Canada, but our bus was well air conditioned, comfortable and the tour guide gave us fun facts along the way so the journeys didn't seem that long. On average we would be on the bus no longer than an hour at a time between activities and hikes. I did one of the paid activities - kayaking on Revelstoke Lake and it was so worth the money. The scenery we saw along the way was fantastic and so much was crammed into the tour although you didn't feel too rushed at each destination. All in all I would recommend a tour with this operator if it is anything like what I experienced, I met some fab people, had a great laugh, and had the experience of any lifetime.
