Itinerary
Day 1
Rome
Welcome to Italy! Upon arrival at Rome’s airport, meet your private driver for a comfortable transfer to your hotel in the heart of the city. After check-in, take the remainder of the day to relax or begin soaking in the Roman atmosphere—perhaps with a stroll to a nearby piazza or a leisurely dinner at a traditional trattoria. Overnight in Rome.
Day 2
Explore Rome
Fuel up with breakfast each morning before diving into the rich history and vibrant culture of the Eternal City. Your 48-hour hop-on hop-off bus pass gives you the flexibility to explore iconic landmarks such as the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain, and Vatican City at your own pace. Listen to the onboard audio commentary for fascinating insights into each site. Spend your evenings at leisure, perhaps sampling Roman cuisine or enjoying a sunset over the Spanish Steps.
Day 4
Rome to Florence
Rome - Florence. After breakfast and check-out, make your way independently to the train station and board a high-speed train bound for Florence. On arrival, transfer on your own to the hotel and settle in. Later, embark on a guided city tour by electric golf cart—an eco-friendly and relaxed way to discover Florence’s historic centre. Glide past the grand Duomo, the elegant façade of Santa Maria Novella, and along the banks of the Arno River. Admire views of Pitti Palace, cross the famous Ponte Vecchio, and ascend to Piazzale Michelangelo for a sweeping panorama of the city’s red-tiled rooftops. An MP3 audio guide will accompany the journey, offering enriching commentary.
Day 5
Free Time in Florence
These two days are yours to enjoy Florence at your own pace. You might visit the Uffizi Gallery to admire works by Botticelli and Michelangelo, explore artisan shops in the Oltrarno district, or take a day trip to the Tuscan countryside. Enjoy the city’s slower rhythm, and perhaps end your evenings with local wine and Florentine steak.
Day 7
Florence to Venice
Florence - Venice. After breakfast, check out and travel independently to the train station for your onward journey to Venice. Once you arrive, make your own way to the hotel and settle in. Spend the rest of the day wandering Venice’s enchanting alleyways, enjoying a quiet canal-side drink or a gondola ride if you wish
Day 8
Venice at Your Own Pace
Use your included 2-day vaporetto (waterbus) pass to explore Venice like a local. Cruise along the Grand Canal, hopping off to visit major sights such as St Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace, and the Rialto Bridge. You may also venture to nearby islands like Murano, known for its glassmaking, or colourful Burano. With no cars and a maze of waterways to navigate, the vaporetto offers a scenic and efficient way to discover the city’s magic.
Day 10
Venice
Check out and enjoy a private transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
