Then head to Bahariya Oasis for a taste of desert life, exploring ancient tombs and stargazing in the remote White Desert. Marvel at surreal landscapes in the Black Desert, Crystal Mountain and Valley of Agabat before unwinding in natural hot springs. This journey blends history, culture and breathtaking scenery for an unforgettable Egyptian escape.

Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Welcome to Cairo

    On arrival in Cairo, you’ll be met and assisted at the airport before transferring to your hotel. Settle in and enjoy the evening at leisure.

  • Day 2

    Wonders of Giza & the Grand Egyptian Museum

    After breakfast at your hotel, begin your day with a visit to the iconic Giza Plateau. Explore the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus, followed by the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Later, visit the new Grand Egyptian Museum, located just 2 kilometres from the pyramids, where you’ll discover an extraordinary collection of artefacts spanning thousands of years. Return to your hotel in Cairo for the night.

  • Day 3

    Journey to Bahariya Oasis

    Enjoy an early breakfast before checking out and setting off on a scenic drive to Bahariya Oasis, around 360 km from Cairo (approximately 4 hours). Upon arrival, lunch will be served in the oasis. Begin your exploration with a visit to the Golden Mummy Showroom, then tour the Tombs of the Nobles, including the Tomb of Bannantiu, which dates back to Egypt’s 26th Dynasty. Later, take in panoramic views from the English House, a historic hilltop lookout. In the evening, you can choose to camp under the stars in the White Desert or stay at a local hotel in the Farafra Oasis. Please let us know your choice of accomodation at time of booking.

  • Day 4

    Desert Landscapes & Natural Wonders

    After breakfast, set off for the Black Desert, characterised by its volcanic hills and dramatic scenery. Continue to El Haize, a natural hot spring also known as St. George Oasis. From there, visit Crystal Mountain, famous for its glittering quartz formations, and explore the Valley of Agabat, a striking desert landscape with unique rock shapes. Finish the day at White Desert National Park, home to surreal wind-sculpted formations that resemble mushrooms, spires and other natural sculptures.

  • Day 5

    Return Drive to Cairo

    This morning, you’ll have time to visit one of the region’s natural hot springs, surrounded by the White Desert’s distinctive limestone formations. Afterwards, begin the journey back to Cairo.

  • Day 6

    Farewell from Egypt

    Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out. You’ll then be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your onward flight.
